Welcome to the HKCCC JTM Platform! These Terms and Conditions (T&C) explain the rules for using our website to join events or make donations. By using our site, you agree to follow these rules. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.


1. Who We Are

We are Hong Kong Campus Crusade For Christ Ltd. (HKCCC), a company based in Hong Kong. Our goal is to organize events and accept donations to support our mission.


2. Using Our Website

  • You can use our website to sign up for events or make donations.
  • You must be at least 18 years old to use the site, or have permission from a parent or guardian if you’re younger.
  • Please provide accurate information when signing up or donating. 
  • Don’t use the site for anything illegal or harmful.


3. Events

  • When you join an event, you agree to follow its rules.
  • We can cancel or change an event if needed (e.g., bad weather or low sign-ups). If we do, we’ll let you know as soon as possible.
  • Some events may have fees. These will be clearly shown before you sign up.


4. Donations

  • Donations are voluntary. Once you give, the money belongs to HKCCC to use for our mission.
  • We’ll send you a receipt if you give us your contact details.
  • Payment is handled by trusted third-party services (Stripe, PaymentAsia or PayMe). We don’t store your payment info.
  • In case of refund, the transaction cost induced by the payment gateway cannot be refunded. 


5. Refund 

I. Event Registration Refund


A. Cancellation by the Participant

  • Unless specifically stated otherwise on the relevant event registration materials, the deadline to receive a refund for your registration is one month prior to the event date.
  • No refunds will be issued for failure to attend the event.


B. Cancellation by the Organizer

  • In the event that HKCCC cancels the event due to insufficient enrollment, venue unavailability, or other operational reasons:
  •   Participants will be eligible for a full refund of the registration fee.
  •   HKCCC shall not be liable for any other costs incurred by the participant (e.g., transportation or accommodation).


C. Adverse Weather Arrangements (Hong Kong)

  • If the event is cancelled due to adverse weather conditions, specifically the issuance of Typhoon Signal No. 8 (or above) or the Black Rainstorm Warning:
  • HKCCC reserves the right to reschedule the event to a later date. Your registration will automatically remain valid for the new date.
  • If rescheduling is not feasible, or if the event is permanently cancelled, a refund may be arranged at the discretion of HKCCC.


II. Donation Refund Policy

  • HKCCC appreciates your support. Generally, donations are considered non-refundable gifts. However, we recognize that technical errors may occur.


A. General Rule

  • All one-time and recurring donations are final and non-refundable.


B. Exception: Technical Errors & Recurring Payments

  • A refund will only be granted under the following specific technical circumstances:

1. System Error: A technical error on our platform caused a duplicate transaction for a single donation.

2. Post-Campaign Charges: A recurring donation was charged to your account after the official closing date of the specific donation campaign.

  • To request a refund for a technical error, please contact us at marketing@hkccc.org within 14 days of the transaction date.



III. Refund Processing (General Terms)

  • Approved refunds will be processed using the original method of payment (e.g., credit card refund).
  • Please allow 30 days for the refund to appear on your bank or credit card statement, depending on your issuing bank's processing times.
  • All transactions and refunds are processed in Hong Kong Dollars (HKD).


IV. Dispute Resolution

  • In the event of any dispute regarding these terms, the interpretation of this policy, or the eligibility for any refund, the decision of HKCCC shall be final and conclusive.


6. Your Responsibilities

  • Keep your account login details safe if you create an account.
  • Don’t share or copy our website content (like text, images, or logos) without our permission.
  • Be respectful when interacting with us or others through the site.


7. Our Rights

  • We can update or change these T&C anytime. If we do, we’ll post the new version here.
  • We can stop or limit access to the site if something goes wrong (like technical issues) or if we think you’re breaking the rules.


8. Privacy

  • We care about your personal info. Check our Privacy Policy to see how we collect, use, and protect it.


9. Limits of Liability

  • We try to keep the website working well, but we’re not responsible if it’s down or has errors.
  • We’re not liable for any problems caused by things we can’t control (like internet outages or natural disasters).

11. Law
